When configuring a schedule in One Identity Manager (1IM) and if the "Start (date)" is on the same date as the first execution date, as defined by the frequency setting, the first schedule run calculation is incorrect. Following are two examples:
Example 1:
- Define a schedule for the execution one time every year on 1st January at 6 AM.
- Start(date) is defined to 1st January, 2022
- Expected first run should be: 1st Jan., 2022 6:00 AM, but instead 1IM showed 1st Jan., 2023 6:00 AM, as shown in "Next scheduled run". The system has ignored the 1st possible date (1st Jan., 2022 6:00 AM) but calculates the next possible date which is one year later.
Example 2:
- Define a schedule for the execution that should run every 3 hours.
- Defined the "Start (Date)" as , in this case date is 27th Jan., 2021 6:00 PM
- Expect first run to be 27th Jan., 2021 6:00 PM. However, first run as shown in "Next Scheduled Run" show 27th Jan., 2021 7:00 PM. The system has calculated incorrectly, adding 1 hour to the first run.
