Newly installed job server not showing up in JobQueueInfo.net -
Description
When looking in JobQueueInfo.net for the job server state, no job servers are shown in the status. Performing a refresh does not change anything. Checking for the same job server in Designer shows that it is added with the proper machine roles and server functions. -
Cause
The job service has not been configured. -
Resolution
Follow the steps below to configure the job service.
1. Open job service configurator (JobServiceConfigurator.exe).
2. Click on Templates and chose SQL server direct:
3. Click on SQL provider:
4. Click on "Connection string" then the Edit button:
6. Populate the SQL server information and click the OK button once done:
7. Click on queuex and populate the Queue field:
8. Click on filelogwriter and populate the Log file field:
9. Click on File and Save:
10. Start (or Restart) the One Identity Manager Service. -
