Can the Identity Manager Job Server Logs Site be locked down to only work with SSL? -
Description
Can the Job Server logs web site, i.e. http://localhost:1880, be locked down to only work with SSL?
Currently the site is locked down so a user has to login to view the log, but the site is not SSL. -
Resolution
The Identity Manager job service uses System.Net.HttpListener for the web interface. With the job service configuration tool (JobServiceConfigurator.exe), it's possible to set whether to use SSL or not ("Use SSL" in the configuration section.)
System.Net.HttpListener can be configured to use a certificate for certain ports using HttpCfg.exe.
