The process "VI_Attestation_AttestationPolicy_Recalculate" has existed since 2009 and has always been triggered by a schedule. In versions older than 9.x, that schedule was disabled by default.
That was changed with Feature 34201, now the schedule "Calculate attestation objects" is active by default.
The process checks/corrects the table HelperAttestationPolicy, which displays in the frontends which AttestationPolicies an object is affected by.
The table is filled when a new AttestationPolicy is created, but after that, this table is not recalculated, so the content becomes inaccurate.
Feature 34201 activates the schedule by default in order to update that table.
The job "VI_Attestation_AttestationPolicy_Recalculate" can be resource intensive. To help with this, the calculation run time is configurable via a schedule.
With the option "Display objects to be attested" (IsShowElementsInvolved) it is possible to configure Feature 34201 per AttestationPolicy.
All default AttestationPolicies are inactive by default.
All custom defined AttestationPolicies are active by default.
