SSO with HttpHeaderAuthentifier or AD Account does not always work on the first try (4381309)

When using Single-sign-on with the HTTP Header Authentifier or the Active Directory role-based authentication module, the initial login attempt does not always succeed.

Users are sometimes redirected to the login page and must click the "Log in" button a second time for authentication to work. 

The ASP.NET Core IRequest object is not always passed correctly. 
This behavior has been identified as product defect 509622.
