Delete attestation cases is not working (4381389)

After following the guide to configure the option to delete attestation cases automatically, it is observed that no attestation cases are deleted:

The option "Obsolete tasks limit" in the Attestation Policy defines how many old Attestation Cases should be kept for the identical object. The key here is the "identical object", meaning if an administrator has two attestation cases for example for one specific user in a specific application role within the same attestation policy. Of these two attestation cases only one is set to closed. The system will then automatically delete old Attestation Cases but only closed cases. For example setting this to 1 means that we would delete just one attestation case for the identical object.
