Audit reports

Security Policy Administrators, Asset Administrators, Auditors, and Application Auditors can run audit reports.

The toolbar for audit reports contain some or all of the following options:

  • View Details: Click to view the details of a selected search result.

  • Request Workflow Details: Click to view the details of all actions for a selected request.

  • Export: Select to create a .csv or .json file of the criteria displayed and save it to a location on your computer.

  • Refresh: Click to update the search results page.

  • Search: You can search by a character string or by a selected attribute with conditions you enter. To search by a selected attribute click Search and select an attribute to search. For more information, see Search box.

Asset/Account/Activity report

This report shows actions performed by an administrator to add or update assets and accounts.

Partition Owners, Asset Administrators, Policy Administrators, or Application Auditors can run an Asset/Account/Activity report.

To export the data from an Asset/Account/Activity report

  1. Navigate to Reports > Audit Reports > Asset/Account/Activity.

  2. (Optional) Apply any desired filters to the table.

    To filter for a User Name, Asset Name, or Account Name to display, use the corresponding fields.

    To set a time frame to display, use the Date Range drop-down.

  3. You can then select to either export the data for all listed items or the data for a single item:

    • To export data for all items, select Export on the toolbar.

    • To export data for a single item, select an item and click View Details. From the details dialog, select Export.

  4. From the Export dialog, select to export the data as either a JSON or CSV file. For more information, see Exporting data. The time is set according to the user time zone.

  5. To generate the report file, click Export.

Domain Account Dependencies report

This report shows the domain account dependencies configured for each account.

Partition Owners, Asset Administrators, or Application Auditors can run a Domain Account Dependencies report.

To export the data from a Domain Account Dependencies report

  1. Navigate to Reports > Audit Reports > Domain Account Dependencies.

  2. You can then select to either export the data for all listed items or the data for a single item:

    • To export data for all items, select Export on the toolbar.

    • To export data for a single item, select an item and click View Details. From the details dialog, select Export.

  3. From the Export dialog, select to export the data as either a JSON or CSV file. For more information, see Exporting data. The time is set according to the user time zone.

  4. To generate the report file, click Export.

Entitlements report

This report shows the policy configuration allowing users to request access to assets and accounts, grouped by user, asset, or account.

  • User: Lists information about the accounts a selected user is authorized to request.

  • Asset: Lists information about the accounts associated with a selected asset and the users who have authorization to request those accounts.

  • Account: Lists detailed information about the users who have authorization to request a selected account including: Entitlement, Policy, Access Type, Password Included, Password Change, Time Restrictions, Expiration Date, Group, From Linked Account, and Last Accessed.

Security Policy Administrators, Auditors, and Application Auditors can run an Entitlement report.

To export the data from an Entitlement report

  1. Navigate to Reports > Audit Reports > Entitlements.

  2. From the top of the Entitlements page, select the tab for User, Asset, or Account.

    NOTE: The number indicated in the tab title shows the number of unique users, assets, or accounts. When you enter search criteria for the report, the number displayed on the tab will adjust accordingly.

  3. (Optional) Apply any desired filters to the table.

  4. You can then select to either export the data for all listed items or the data for a single item:

    • To export data for all items, select Export on the toolbar.

    • To export data for a single item, select an item and click View Details. From the details dialog, select Export.

  5. From the Export dialog, select to export the data as either a JSON or CSV file. For more information, see Exporting data. The time is set according to the user time zone.

  6. To generate the report file, click Export.

Security Policy Administrators, Auditors, and Application Auditors can export a user entitlement report that also includes detailed information on each of the associated accounts.

To export a detailed user entitlement report

  1. Navigate to Reports > Entitlements.

  2. From the top of the Entitlements page, select the User tab.

    NOTE: The number indicated in the tab title shows the number of unique users. When you enter search criteria for the report, the number displayed on the tab will adjust accordingly.

  3. (Optional) Apply any desired filters to the table.

  4. To export a CSV file containing the data, click (Export).
