IT Shop: Is there a way to remove the "Address Book" link under the person icon on the top right of the screen? (4347155)

Is there a way to remove the "Address Book" link under the person icon on the top right of the screen in IT Shop?

In version 7.1.x this was called "White Pages" and the link is under the "About" heading in the top right hand corner, see image below:

The web portal can be customized to suit your requirements.  For more information on using Web Designer, please refer to the Web Designer Reference guide.

To remove the "Address Book" link you can make a copy of the component "VI_UserLogon" and remove the menu item there, or set a visibility condition:

The above example filters based on a specific Business Role, "Contractors".

Save your changes then compile the web project and test.
