Offline Password Reset there is a window that pops up for the Windows login page. Is it possible to not require the domain name? (4226810)

When using the Offline Password Reset there is a window that pops up for the Windows login page: "Enter your user name (in the format domain\user name):"  Is it possible not to require the domain name?

Currently this is a product limitation as text is hard coded and not modifiable.
