Copying policies from one policy group to another -

What is the recommended procedure for copying the entire policy tree from the primary policy server of one policy group to the primary policy server of another policy group?
This procedure was attempted:
- Checkout policy on primary A
- tar up /tmp/policy_pmpolicy
- Checkout policy on primary B
- Copy policy file from A over and replace /tmp/policy_pmpolicy on primary B with it
- commit copied over policy directory
However it resulted in the following error:
# pmpolicy commit -d /tmp
** Validate options [ OK ]
** Commit copy in directory:/tmp/policy_pmpolicy
** Check directory [ OK ]
** Perform syntax check [ OK ]
** Error: Failed to access the repository to report requested information -
原因
We think that the issue may be because the copied over policy directory contains svn files that are not actually part of the policy -
対策
Assuming none of the files in the policy tree have names containing ".svn", you should be able to use the following commands in step 2 to generate the tarball, filtering out the svn related files and directories:cd /tmp/policy_pmpolicyfind . -type f | grep -v .svn | xargs tar czvf /tmp/policy.tgz
