説明
Some network issues can cause mapupdate to hang during DNS lookup system calls sporadically. This results in a long running mapupdate process which never exits and prevents all future mapupdates until the process is killed

原因
The problem is that there is currently no timeout option for the mapupdate process taht will force the process to end if it is found to be running for an unsual length of time. Defect 312689 has been created to track this issue. -

STATUS
Issue fixed in version 4.1.0.20789. The latest version of QAS can be downloaded here.
