PowerShell Command “Initialize-QDataGovernanceServer” fails -
説明
When running the command “Initialize-QDataGovernanceServer” the error following error is displayed:
“Initialize-QDataGovernanceServer : Could not connect to net.tcp://[oldServer]L8722/Broadway/ManagementServer.svc.
The connection attempt lasted for a time span of 00:00:01.0765932.
TCP error code 10061: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it [IP]:8722
At line:1 char:1” -
原因
The reason it is looking for the old server name is because the command set-QServiceConnection was not run.
If set-QServiceConnection is not run, the “Initialize-QDataGovernanceServer” will default to looking in Active Directory at the first Service Connection Point (SCP) it finds. -
対策
To resolve the error, please follow these steps:
1. Run the command “set-QServiceConnection”
2. Close/re-open PowerShell
3. Run the command “Initialize-QDataGovernanceServer”
