Resizing the RDP screen in SPS version 8.0.1 and 8.1 fails (4379352)

After upgrading SPS to version 8.0.1 LTS or 8.1 Feature release, the RDP window resizing functionality is not working as expected. When transitioning from a smaller monitor to a larger one, the RDP window does not resize to full screen accordingly, resulting in the display remaining at the resolution set for the smaller monitor.

Change Request # 483198 will address this issue in a future release of SPS subject to successful QA testing and product management approval.

WORKAROUND

Users can start the session on the larger monitor to ensure it maintains the higher resolution.
