Attempting to upgrade Password Manager fails with the following error:
Can't write to the file 'QPM.Service.Host'. I/O exception: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect. : 'C:\Windows\system32\ C:\Windows\Temp\'
Message: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect. : 'C:\Windows\system32\ C:\Windows\Temp\', StackTrace: at System.IO.FileSystem.CreateDirectory(String fullPath, Byte[] securityDescriptor)
at System.IO.Directory.CreateDirectory(String path)
at QPM.Common.Diagnostics.LogToFileListener.TraceEvent(TraceEventCache eventCache, String source, TraceEventType eventType, Int32 id, String format, Object[] args)
The LogPath registry entry on the Password Manager host has a leading space.
On the Password Manager host, open the Windows registry editor and navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\One Identity\Password Manager\Logging
Correct the LogPath key and remove any leading spaces
