What is pmrun?

The pmrun command requests that an application is run in a controlled account. Simply add pmrun to the beginning of the command line. It can be used by a user to initiate a session to run a program or command as a privileged user.  

pmrun cat /etc/shadow

Pmrun is present on client machines, wherever a user needs to initiate a session. Pmrun should be located in a directory defined in the users PATH.
