説明
In the scenario where SSB sends logs to a destination syslog server it possible to configure a second destination server for redundancy (failover) in case the first destination server becomes inaccessible -
原因
The option for a failover is not available for remote host destinations in SSB. -
対策
Workaround:
There is a failover() option in syslog-ng PE which specifies a secondary destination server where log messages are sent if the primary server becomes inaccessible. By changing the logging architecture and using SSB only as a final destination and a syslog-ng PE relay to send the logs to the SSB, then the failover() option could be configured.
