SPP allows you to store backup files on an external archive server.
To archive a backup file
The archive server must be set up. For more information, see Adding an archive server..
- Go to Backup and Restore:
web client: Navigate to
Backup and Retention > Backup and Restore.
- Select the backup to be archived.
- Proceed to archive the backup:
Archive. On the Archive Servers dialog, choose an archive server.
SPP copies the backup file to the archive server.
