Some actions that you perform when using Web Portal (for example, approving or denying requests) are processed in the background as so-called background processes. This mean you can continue using the Web Portal without interruption.
NOTE: The background process queue is managed in your existing session. If you log out or close the Web Portal, it cancels all the processes that are running and queued in the background.
Detailed information about this topic
Obtain an overview of background processes, by displaying all running, queued, and completed background processes.
Background processes that were started with an action are grouped together as a background process group.

This opens the View Background Processes side panel and displays all running, queued, and completed background processes.
