Specifying the priority of products in your shopping cart
After you have added products to your shopping cart (see Adding products to the shopping cart), you can specify their priority. The priority allows approvers to quickly identify how important a product request is.
To specify the priority of a product in the shopping cart

In the menu bar, click Requests > Shopping cart.

On the Shopping Cart page, click Edit next to the product whose priority you want define.

In the Edit Product side panel, in the Priority drop-down, select the priority.

Click Save.
Now you can add more products to your shopping cart, set additional options for products in the shopping cart, or submit the request.
Giving reasons for requests
After you have added products to your shopping cart (see Adding products to the shopping cart), you can give reasons for requesting them. A reason can help approvers make their approval decisions.
To give a reason for requesting a product from the shopping cart

In the menu bar, click Requests > Shopping cart.

On the Shopping Cart page, click Edit next to the product with the request you want to justify.

In the Edit product side panel, in the Reason field, explain why you are requesting the product.

Click Save.
Now you can add more products to your shopping cart, set additional options for products in the shopping cart, or submit the request.
Checking the shopping cart
When you send a request, it is automatically checked to see if it contains invalid products. You can also run this check before you submit the request. If necessary, you will be shown why specific product requests are invalid.
To check your shopping cart for invalid products

In the menu bar, click Requests > Shopping cart.

On the Shopping Cart page, perform one of the following actions:
If invalid products are found, an appropriate message appears in the Check result column next to the invalid product.

In the list, click Error next to the invalid product.
In the View Validation Results side panel, the relevant message is displayed that gives you precise information about why you cannot request the product.
Requesting products in the shopping cart for multiple identities
After you have added products to your shopping cart (see Adding products to the shopping cart), you can request the products in your shopping cart for other identities as well.
To request a product in the shopping cart for multiple identities

In the menu bar, click Requests > Shopping cart.

On the Shopping Cart page, click Edit next to the product that you want to request for other identities.

In the Edit Product side panel, click Actions > Request for multiple identities.

In the Request for Multiple Identities side panel, select the check boxes next to the identities you want to request the product for.

Click Apply.

Close the details pane.
Now you can add more products to your shopping cart, set additional options for products in the shopping cart, or submit the request.
