You are provided with the following general main data of a role setting.
NOTE: The main data is set by processes, you cannot set it manually.

Navigate to the Microsoft Entra ID role settings main data via the overview form of the corresponding role.
NOTE: The main data is set by processes, you cannot set it manually.
To display Microsoft Entra ID role settings main data

In the Manager, select the Microsoft Entra ID > Roles category.

Select the role in the result list.

In the overview, select the Microsoft Entra ID role setting form element.

Select the form element Microsoft Entra ID role setting again.
Temporary access passes allow you to assign temporary access passes to new user accounts using the Manager. Only one temporary access pass can be assigned per user account.
To add a temporary access pass to a user account

In the Manager, select the Microsoft Entra ID > User accounts category.

In the result list, select the user account.

Select the Assign temporary access pass task.
NOTE: This feature is not available in B2C Tenants.

Click Add and enter the following information.

Start time: The time at which the temporary access pass becomes valid.
NOTE: If access is to start immediately, do not enter a start time.

Valid for (minutes): Specify the validity period of the temporary access pass.

Specify whether this is a One-time user temporary access pass.

Save the changes.
To remove a temporary access pass to a user account

In the Manager, select the Microsoft Entra ID > User accounts category.

Select the user account in the result list.

Select the Assign temporary access pass task.

Select the temporary access pass and click Remove.

Save the changes.
Scoped role assignments for a Microsoft Entra ID role are displayed on the role's overview form.
To obtain an overview of a scoped role assignment for a role

In the Manager, select the Microsoft Entra ID > Roles category.

Select the role in the result list.

Select the Microsoft Entra ID role overview task.
The Microsoft Entra ID role assignments form element shows the role assignments of the role.
