Description
Getting the following library errors when joining on AIX 5.2 system:
exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program /opt/quest/bin/vastool because of the following errors:
0509-130 Symbol resolution failed for /opt/quest/lib/libvas.so because:
0509-136 Symbol __fd_poll (number 87) is not exported from
dependent module /usr/lib/libc.a(shr.o).
0509-136 Symbol __fd_select (number 88) is not exported from
dependent module /usr/lib/libc.a(shr.o).
0509-136 Symbol __fd_getdtablesize (number 143) is not exported from
dependent module /usr/lib/libc.a(shr.o).
0509-150 Dependent module libvas.so could not be loaded.
0509-026 System error: Cannot run a file that does not have a valid format.
0509-192 Examine .loader section symbols with the
'dump -Tv' command.

Cause
Wrong bff package was installed.

Resolution
RESOLUTION 1:
For QAS on AIX 5.2 install vasclnt.AIX_5_1.x.x..x.bff which is in the /client/aix-51 directory
RESOLUTION 2:
run the install.sh script at the root of the download and it should choose the correct package
