Properties of base objects

Enter the following properties for a base object.

Table 65: Properties of base objects

Property

Description

SynchronizationClosed has no base object

Defines whether a specific base object is required for synchronization.

If this option is set, a specific object cannot be selected from the base table.

Base table

Select the table from which to select the base object, for example, ADSDomain.

Base objectClosed

Select the object from the base table formed by the base object for synchronization and provisioning processes.

Variable setClosed

Select the variable set that contains the connection parameter which corresponds with the base object. Variables from selected variable sets are displayed.

For each base objects there must be a start up configuration, which uses the same variable set.

Offline mode available

Specifies whether the target system can be flagged as temporarily offline. This makes it possible to respond to short-term system outages.
