When deprovisioning a user, the following error is observed:

Failed to move the user account to new location. Original location: ' <OU1> '. Failed to move to this location: ' <OU2> '. Details <<< Administration Service encountered an error when moving the object ''. Access is denied.

Cause 1:

• The service account or override account does not have permissions to move the object

Cause 2:

• There are multiple Managed Domains in ARS, and the deprovisioning policy is attempting to move the object cross Domain

Resolution 1:

• Ensure the service account or override account is a member of the Domain Admins group

Resolution 2:

• Configure separate deprovisioning policies for each Managed Domain, with settings unique to each Domain
