"Access denied" error when creating Replication Partner using sa credentials -

When attempting to add in a replication partner in Active Roles Server while sa credentials are being used to access the database, it is possible that a simple "Access Denied" error message may be encountered. -
原因
After ruling out network connectivity issues, either the publisher or subscriber could possibly be configured so that sa authentication is not allowed for this purpose.

解决办法
Ensure that the service account running the Active Roles Administration Service has sufficient access to SQL, and then modify the database connection settings so that Windows Authentication is being leveraged instead of sa authentication.
