说明
Group Family not creating new groups or updating existing groups and the error logs from Action Summary may show one of the following errors.
"Error when updating group 'Group Failing' in 'domain.local/OU': Administration Service encountered an error when retrieving properties of the object 'CN=Group Falling,OU=OU,DC=domain,DC=local'."
OR
"'Error when updating group 'objectGuid' in '': Group cannot be found.'" -
原因
Managing or deleting controlled groups outside Active Roles either via ADUC or other tools may break the Group Family functionality. The best practice is always to use Active Roles to manage these groups.
This issue has been identified as product defect #391819. -
解决办法
WORKAROUND
Download the script from this link and run it in order to fix and clean up the deleted groups.
P.S.: Before running this script make sure a backup of the configuration database has been done, this script won't delete or remove any existing group in the environment. -
