Active Roles Web Interface is not installed. To use rSTS, install the Web Interface first

Although Web Interface is installed the following error is returned when clicking Try to fix button when configuring rSTS for the first time.

"Active Roles Web Interface is not installed. To use rSTS, install the Web Interface first"
 

Redistributable Secure Token Server is not installed on the Active Roles Web Interface server.

WORKAROUND

1 - Open Command Prompt as Administrator;
2 - Navigate to the following folder path "C:\Program Files\One Identity\Active Roles\8.2\Web\RSTS" (default foder installation);
3 - Run the following cmdlet in order to install the RSTS;

rsts.exe -install

4 - Wait until the installation is finished the following messages are returned in the prompt;

• The Install phase completed successfully, and the Commit phase is beginning.
• The Commit phase completed successfully.
• The transacted install has completed.

5 - Close the Authentication window wizard and open up it again.

Note: Make sure the 443 binding is configured and associated with a valid certificate.
