Impact of Microsoft Exchange Server Subscription Edition (SE) on Active Roles (4380266)

Microsoft has announced the release of Exchange Server Subscription Edition (SE), which replaces the traditional perpetual versions of Exchange Server (e.g., 2016 and 2019). The official end of support for Exchange Server 2016 and 2019 is presently October 14th, 2025.

One Identity is presently working to ensure Active Roles is fully compatible with Exchange SE. Once our testing is complete, we will update our Documentation and this knowledge base article.
