While trying to add a NetApp OnTap filer, the agent appears to install correctly but DGE shows the agent with a status of "A scanning error has occurred" upon doing an initial scan of the device.
原因
The Security Index Roots are set incorrectly.
解决办法
As outlined in the Quest One Identity Manager Data Governance Edition Release Notes, this is a known issue:
- Security index roots with semi-colon characters are not supported. To scan a folder with a semi-colon in its name, ensure that one of its parents is selected as a root, or share the folder with a name not containing a semi-colon, and add the computer as a remote managed host
- C$ and ETC$ are not valid as security index roots for NetApp filers.
- When deploying remote agents, it is sometimes possible to select roots that the specified service account cannot access. Ensure that the service account being selected for agent deployment can read the target.
