Installing Jobservice on server results in error: "It is not allowed to use the local machine as install destination." -
说明
When performing Jobservice installation via configuration wizard on allocated server, installation fails with error:
"It is not allowed to use the local machine as install destination." -
原因
This error occurs when running the installation on the same server machine. E.g. front-end tools, database and SQL processing jobservice are all installed on the same server.
This is expected behavior for One Identity Manager as front-end tools are intended to run on a different workstation and within the same domain. Installation of job services are not allowed on the same machine via the configuration wizard. -
解决办法
Install the front-end tools on a different workstation machine and perform remote installation of the jobservice on the intended job server.
