Unable to edit column (field) for Employee within Manager -
说明
When attempting to edit a column for an Employee in the Person table via Object Browser, the column is grayed out, with a small gold padlock on the column and has the description of "User defined edit lock":
In Manager the field is grayed out and cannot be edited:

原因
The column has "Prohibit modification" set via Manager:

解决办法
Locate the Employee record within Manager, then right-click the column name and select "Permit modification":
