说明
Is the LTS version of Identity Manager supported without upgrading to the latest available cumulative update?
解决办法
One Identity fully supports Identity Manager LTS releases according to our Product Lifecycle Table which is available from the Support portal (link below) regardless of which Cumulative Update(CU) is installed on it with the following provisions:
The latest CU contains all the fixes implemented in previous CUs, therefore if an LTS installation is on an older CU and needs to upgraded to a later CU it is not necessary to upgrade to intermediate CUs first, the upgrade can go directly to the latest CU and that will contain all of the fixes that have been implemented in the intermediate CUs.
If an LTS installation is on an older CU and there is a need to install an approved fix that has been implemented in a later CU, then the installation must be upgraded to the latest CU as an individual fix will not be provided for an older CU.
If an LTS installation is on an older CU and comes across a new issue that has not been fixed in any of the subsequent CUs then, if approved, that fix will be implemented in the next CU release. Therefore, in order to avail of that fix, the LTS installation must be upgraded to the new CU once it becomes available.
If an LTS installation is on an older CU and a new issue is identified that requires a hotfix (H/F) and the new issue cannot wait for the release of the next CU, then the LTS installation must be upgraded to the latest CU and the approved H/F applied to that CU. The approved H/F will also be implemented in the next CU to be released.
For details on the criteria used for issuing approved hotfixes for LTS, please see the section called “Long Term Support (LTS) and Feature Releases” in the latest Identity Manager CU release notes:
