Unable to enable logging From the Admin site (4216355)

When you try to enable logging, the Admin site is currently configured to "Turn off logging".

When you try to change to "Log errors only", and click on Save, it accepts the modification. If you go to another tab and come back, it reverted to the default setting, "Turn off logging" and no logfile is created.

Or not able to access the PMAdmin site to enable logging.

WORKAROUND:

Password Manager 5.7.1: and newer

1. Add the Application Pool Account for PMADMIN from IIS to local Administrators Group
2. Restart IIS and then turn on logging again

Alternative: Create Registry key manually:

1. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\One Identity\Password Manager\Logging
   Note: If the hive does not exist please create it manually.
2. Create a new String Value called LogFolder=  Value = C:\
3. Create a new String Value called LogLevel Value = All

Password Manager 5.6.x and 5.7.0:

1. Add the Application Pool Account for PMADMIN from IIS to local Administrators Group
2. Restart IIS and then turn on logging again
