Q: What is the purpose of this table?
A: The purpose of this table is to manage the file shares. There is already a predefined form for that table (based on the GenericForm) and the default the table is not included in the navigation/dialog settings for the Manager. This table it can be added with custom defined configurations.
Q: How is the table filled in the standard?
A: There is nothing in the default which fills this table. The custom defined extension mentioned above can be used to provide this table in the Manager, then the content can be managed manually or define any custom defined function to do something automatically.
Q: Will this table remain in the future versions?
A: There is no plan to remove this table during the time of this Knowledge Base article being published.
