Verify License Count is missing when looking at properties of DEFLIC0000000000

When trying to determine an accurate license count, the information displayed in the About screen under the Defender menu, does not correspond with the numbers of assigned tokens found using Find-DefenderToken cmdlet. When trying to Verify License Count in the properties of DEFLIC0000000000 the option is no longer there. How can we correctly determine the user/license count?

The "Verify License Count" button was removed beginning in version 5.8.1 of Defender.

A background process now runs periodically to ensure the license counts are accurate. The Licensing section of the About dialog in the Defender Admin Console displays the Soft Token License counts as counted by this background process and should be accurate.

The explanation for the number of objects in the Token OU or the results of the Find-DefenderToken cmdlet may differ from this value because not all token types are included in the count shown on the About page. Hardware tokens are licensed separately and are excluded from this count.
