Site fails to load with HTTP 500 error: "InvalidCastException" or "The file '/ARWebAdmin/default.aspx' has not been pre-compiled, and cannot be requested" -

Web interface site fails to load with one of the the following HTTP 500 Exceptions:
System.InvalidCastException: Unable to cast object of type 'System.Web.HttpApplication' to type 'ActiveRoles.Web.Application.Global'.
OR
The file '/ARWebAdmin/default.aspx' has not been pre-compiled, and cannot be requested.

原因
This issue is most commonly encountered following a .NET update or after upgrading Active Roles, however it has been observed to occur without explanation. The root cause appears to be within the .NET update process. -
解决办法
Resolution 1
Clear .NET cache files
- Stop IIS
- Navigate to the following folder on the web interface host: 'C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\Temporary ASP.NET Files' and rename the folder matching the site to .BAK.
- Start IIS
- Visit the site
The temporary files will be recreated automatically upon the next site visit.
Resolution 2
Set the IIS Setting the Private Memory Limit to 0 (Unlimited) for the ARWebAppPool application pool.
Resolution 3
Conflicts between the System Center 2016 Operations Manager APM Agent and IIS are a known root cause. To resolve the issue:
- Uninstall the Operations Manager 2016 monitoring agent from the ARS Web Host
- Reinstall the Operations Manager 2016 agent without APM
