“Could not startfrom localhost” error when starting QCVDS/VDS from GUI in Windows. -
说明
When installing a new Windows version of the QCVDS/VDS, it couldn’t start running showing the error:"Could not start <Config_Name> from localhost"
The ‘Show details’ button shows the message:"Start/Stop command returned 1" -
原因
The issue could be due to a register key which is affecting the way the command line parameters are being run in the QCVDS/VDS product, so whenever a command line operation is launched, its current folder is set to the root folder (probably set by some security reasons). -
解决办法
The better way of avoiding this issue is to remove that registry entry (please before doing this just verifies it's not against any security policy in your company):- Open windows registry (Start->Run: regedit)- Go to the entry:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Command Processor\Autorun- Rename the entry or remove it -
