说明
Unable to profile some servers from the Management Console for Unix. When a profile is attempted the error returned is "failed to save profiled properties". -
原因
When the MCU opens a shell session on a Unix system to gather information it sets the command prompt to a known value so that it can parse the output. The systems that were failing had an alias in their shell profile which reset the command prompt whenever the directory was changed. This prevented the MCU from correctly parsing the output from these servers. -
解决办法
WORKAROUNDThe issue can be resolved by removing shell aliases or any other restrictions which prevent changing of the root command prompt.STATUSEnhancement request number “28624" has been submitted to Development for consideration in a future release of Management Console for Unix -
