Windows 10 machine with Defender Desktop Login client version 5.9.3 installed.
After entering the password and passcode, there is a significant delay before getting to the Windows desktop.
This delay may occur when the Defender Desktop login client is unable to reach a Domain controller in the domain. -

Note that this workaround applies when the Defender Desktop login client is unable to reach a Domain controller in the domain.
On a computer where Defender Desktop Login is installed, use Registry Editor to create the following value in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\PassGo Technologies\Defender\Defender GINA registry key:
Value type: REG_DWORD(32-bit)Value name: DC Not ReachableValue data: 1
After creating the registry key, restart the Defender Desktop Login computer. -
