What data is sent from the client to trigger a profile when using Auto Profile in Management Console for Unix?
When you configure Auto profile in Management Console for Unix it will create a cron job on the client that runs a script.
This script will send a trigger to the Management Console for Unix server in order to start the profile. -

From the client side when an Auto profile is triggered, an http request is sent to the Management Console for Unix server as in the following example:
http://mcuserver01.mydomain.com:9080/notify/profile/7b1faeda-d8d9-439e-9d8d-c0c4de380604
Note that this is an http request, not an https request.
The "7b1faeda-d8d9-439e-9d8d-c0c4de380604" portion of the URL is a randomly generated unique identifier that is used by Management Console for Unix to trigger a secure profile for the client.
This identifier is not a sensitive piece of information and does not warrant the overhead required to use https.
The actual profile attempt that is triggered from this request is done securely in the same manner as a normal profile attempt. (using SSH)
