The vasd process started crashing shortly after a change in the group policy was implemented. The process would run correctly for a few second after being restarted, and then it would crash. -
原因
The problem was tracked down to a password policy that was modified a couple of hours before the problem was first noticed. The policy contained a distinguished name with a CN that had the following string in it "CN\=". This string was misinterpreted by QAS resulting in vasd crashing. -
解决办法
The customer removed the "CN\=" from their CN name and that resolved the problem on their systems. The defect ID #639694 was created to look into better handling of this issue in the future. -
