Yes,the pmmasterd is required on sudo plugin hosts.The pmmasterd normally acts as a proxy to connect to the pmmasterd on the policy servers, but if there's there is a network outage a problem on one of the policy servers, the local pmmasterd is responsible for evaluating the sudo request after an offlinetimeout period (1.5 seconds). -
