There are tasks in the DBQueue with a high sort order, which are never processed (4321645)

Under certain circumstances it is possible that tasks with a high sort order in the DBQueue are never processed.  This might happen, for example, in an installation with frequently running synchronizations for big target systems, which constantly inject tasks with a low sort order.

The algorithm processing the DBQueue needs to be adjusted for these situations.  This is a product defect (31217).
