An in-place upgrade to Active Roles 7.4.X fails with the following error:
Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'PK_ARServices_objectGUID'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.ARServices'.
解决办法
1.- Uninstall ARS v7.X
2.- Delete the following objects left behind after uninstall:
- In the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\One Identity\Active Roles
- On the ARS server: C:\ProgramData\One Identity\Active Roles
- On the ARS server: C:\Program Files\One Identity\Active Roles
3.- Install the new ARS v7.4.X, creating a new database as part of setup
4.- Stop all ARS services and use the Active Roles Configuration Center to import from the data from the old database to the new DB.

Note 1: Please be aware that if you have replication set, you will need to break replication before running the upgrade.
Note 2: It is recommended that you run a backup of your existing DBs before running the upgrade steps.
