Microsoft Exchange 2013 has been introduced into the environment for testing purposes or in preparation for a migration, and Active Roles creates some objects, like Contacts or Groups, on the Microsoft Exchange 2013 servers instead of the production Microsoft Exchange 2007 or 2010 servers.
We see this is happening by confirming that the objects have an msexchversion of 88218628259840
If it is desired to use the locally-installed Microsoft Exchange 2007 Management Tools, please execute the attached VB script labeled enable2007Tools.vbs using an account with the Active Roles Administrator Role.
If it is desired to use Microsoft Exchange 2010 Remote Shell, please execute the attached VB script labeled enable2010RemoteShell.vbs using an account with the Active Roles Administrator Role.
Following the execution of either of these scripts, if will be necessary to restart all Active Roles Service instances in the environment.
