Unable to sort grid contents in ascending order

Clicking on a grid column header in the web portal arranges grid contents correctly in descending order, but, a second click on the column header does not re-arrange the contents in ascending order.

The triangle icon in the column header does update to suggest ascending order, and an HTTP request is sent to the server to fetch updated content, but the grid content does not change.

This behaviour appears to affect all grids, with both Chrome and Firefox.
