Upgrade the RemoteApp Launcher to version 2.0.0.0

If you have installed the previous version of RemoteApp Launcher 1.0.0.0 on the Remote Desktop Server and looking to upgrade to the next release of the RemoteApp Launcher version 2.0.0.0, please follow the steps in the resolution section to upgrade successfully.

This KB does not apply if you are installing the RemoteApp Launcher version 2.0.0.0 for the first time without a pre-existing older version of the RemoteApp Launcher.

This new version of the RemoteApp Launcher 2.0.0.0 is compatible with SPP version 7.2 Feature release or above.
For SPP 7.0.x and 7.1 Feature release, you should continue to use the RemoteApp Launcher version 1.0.0.0

To upgrade the RemoteApp Launcher from version 1.0.0.0 to the new version 2.0.0.0

Please uninstall the RemoteApp Launcher version 1.0.0.0 before installing the new release of RemoteApp Launcher version 2.0.0.0
