The Active Roles Administration Service fails to start.
The Active Roles Admin Service Event Viewer logs shows the error:
There is already a listener on IP endpoint 0.0.0.0:15172. This could happen if there is another application already listening on this endpoint or if you have multiple service endpoints in your service host with the same IP endpoint but with incompatible binding configurations. -
原因
There is a port conflict on the Active Roles Administration Service host.
Port 15172 is the Active Roles Client Communication port and is required for the Active Roles Administration Service to start. -
解决办法
WORKAROUND
Use TCPView from Microsoft SysInternals to see what process is bound to port 15172 and change its configuration so that it uses another port. The Active Roles Administration Service is hard-coded to use port 15172 and this cannot be modified.
