IPMI dedicated interface settings -
说明
IPMI's speed or duplexity settigns are not always negotiated properly with different switches and/or routers, so the connection may break.
Not all of our products can be set using the commands from this article, please see the details at the bottom of the article.IPMI is unreacheable after a short amount of time.

原因
The root cause of this can be an incorrect setting or compatibility issue on the switch, router or IPMI. -
解决办法
The manufacturer of the IPMI firmware made an option to set it.
The dedicated IPMI interface speed and duplexity settings can be set with the ipmitool utility's raw commands with OEM command format:NetFn:0x30 / CMD:0x70 / SubCMD:0x63
Data 1: 0/1 [Get/Set]
Data 2:- 0: Auto-negotiation
- 1: 10M Half duplex
- 2: 10M Full duplex
- 3: 100M Half duplex
- 4: 100M Full duplex
Example for setting it to auto-negotiate the link:
ipmitool raw 0x30 0x70 0x63 1 0 -

Applies to SSB n1000 SCB n1000 Remarks This is only available from the 2.17 or later version of Supermicro's IPMI firmware and it can set only the dedicated interface's settings.
