Failure when upgrading QAS 4.1 to 4.2 on MCU -
说明
When using the Management Console for Unix (MCU) to upgrade a QAS client from QAS 4.1 to 4.2 the upgrade can hang and then fail after a timeout of a few minutes. -
原因
This issue is caused by a group policy configuration file that is changed in QAS 4.2. The installer displays a prompt asking if you would like to replace the file with a new one and the MCU does not respond to this prompt and times out eventually. -
解决办法
WORKAROUND
To workaround this issue you may run the QAS update from the Unix shell instead of using the MCU, or you can uninstall the QAS package and then install the new version from the MCU
