Intermittent authentication failures and segfault after installing or upgrading Safeguard Authentication Services 6.0.2 (4379405)

Post-install or upgrade of Safeguard Authentication Services (SAS) version 6.0.2, intermittent authentication failures may be seen. 

A corresponding segfault is seen in syslog.

SAS Product Defect ID 489459 

Any UNIX/Linux system with SAS version 6.0.2 installed where the SAS access control file users.allow (/etc/opt/quest/vas/users.allow) is populated with groups could have this issue. 

There is no workaround to mitigate this product defect. 

This issue only impacts SAS version 6.0.2
