Post-install or upgrade of Safeguard Authentication Services (SAS) version 6.0.2, intermittent authentication failures may be seen.
A corresponding segfault is seen in syslog.

SAS Product Defect ID 489459
Any UNIX/Linux system with SAS version 6.0.2 installed where the SAS access control file users.allow (/etc/opt/quest/vas/users.allow) is populated with groups could have this issue.
There is no workaround to mitigate this product defect.
This issue only impacts SAS version 6.0.2
The fix for the product defect 489459 is in version 6.0.3 of SAS.
